Item Description

A very showy and excellent, CABINET, combination specimen from a less well-known deposit at Madan. Complex, translucent, colorless, botryoidal-looking, stacks of flattened and rounded manganoan calcite rhombs are richly and aesthetically scattered on the matrix covered with diverging sprays of off-white, dogtooth calcite crystals. The manganoan calcite botryoids have very interesting, dogtooth ends. I really like the unusual form of thse manganoan calcites. A few iridescent, brassy, chalcopyrite crystals scattered about are a nice accent. Very fine combination material from this locale. Pretty orangey-pink fluorescence on the manganoan calcite.
