Manganoan Calcite (fluorescent)

Item Description

A striking, large, pretty pastel-pink manganoan calcite crystal from the find about three years ago in Inner Mongolia. The lustrous and translucent, blocky crystal has a jagged, sharks teeth cluster of scalenohedrons at the termination. One side has several interesting, slightly stained indentations, once occupied by other crystals. Complete all-around and essentially pristine, with only one gently bruised termination point, out of all the many. This piece has color, flair and form. Few more have come out since. SUPER orange fluorescence.
