Item Description
Lustrous, translucent, light pastel-pink, nailhead, manganaon calcite rhombs have a very interesting parallel-growth form on this showy and excellent example from the famous mines at Dal'negorsk. The dramatic large rhomb is 6.8 cm across and is nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. These glassy rhombs are a second generation growth over earlier siderite or oxide-coated rhombs. Interesting. Dal'negorsk, likeTsumeb, is legendary for calcite quality and diversity. Orange-pink fluorescence.
