Item Description

Classic and highly desirable Arizona calcite. Lustrous, translucent, manganoan calcite "wheat-sheaves" are aesthetically set on matrix. A very nifty accent is the green malachite included around the base of the crystals. The striking, free-standing crystal is 2.0 cm. Ex Jaime Bird Collection and comes with a De Natura/Les Presmyk label from the 1970s or 1980s, when Les was the mine geologist. This explains why the specific stope is known.
