Item Description

This strikingly shaped small cabinet "ice-cream cone" of pretty pastel-pink manganoan calcite crystals has stunning neon-orange fluorescence. The intergrown elongated manganoan calcite crystals have stepped-growth subtle etched satin luster nailhead terminations, adding character. This showy and excellent piece is from the 2011-12 finds at the now famous (then, new!) remote Huanggang Mine of Inner Mongolia, China. Now considered modern classics, they do not come out like this any more. Note the stunning fluorescence as a bonus! Valued $1500
