Fascinating form characterizes this highly sculptural two generation manganoan calcite specimen from this well-known locale. Two striking upright parallel clusters of frosted, pastel-pink, intergrown, trigonal, thin tabular sail-like rhombs are aesthetically set on the mounded matrix covered with slightly richer pink calcite rhombs. The two "sails" are pristine. Modest pink fluorescence. A startling and excellent 360-degree calcite from the Tom Wolfe Calcite Collection.
