Three sides of this impressive large manganoan calcite rhomb from the Casapalca Mine are strikingly overgrown with secondary manganoan calcite scalenohedrons. The translucent, pretty pastel-pink rhomb has frosted faces. Two cleavage faces are out-of-sight in the excellent display views. This is an exceptionally fine rhomb from this noted locale. Neon-orange fluorescence!
