Item Description
A spectacular, large, two generation manganoan calcite from this remote and now famous locality. The facinating, two parallel-growth disks have razor-sharp edges. The sharply formed interior of these pretty pastel-pink rhombs is gemmy, transparent to translucent and looks just like a morganite crystal! The surrounding, frosted fringe is translucent. A few smaller disks are a nifty compliment. Amazingly, the edges of the large disks are pristine, excepting the contact at the base. The back side of the smaller disk jauntily embedded at the crest is chipped, as is the front of the disk on the right side. The right side disk chip is only a modest detraction to this surreal calcite. Fabulous neon-orange fluorescence! Value??
