Beautiful purple manganoan adamite crystals are richly and aesthetically clustered on this very fine miniature from the Dick Heck Collection. Perched high on a matrix of manganese oxides, are crystals of manganoan purple adamite to 1.25 cm in length. The lustrous, translucent, crystals have mostly white bodies and gorgeous, gemmy, pinkish-purple terminations. A classic from the one-time find in 1981! The associated balls accenting the adamites are goethite. This cutie displays great from either side. Choice material. Ex Dick Heck Collection. Valued at $1200.
