Item Description

A nice thumbnail specimen featuring a sphenoidal jet-black, lustrous crystals of Manganite measuring 9 mm on minor matrix. The habit is sphenoidal, which actually was in reference to a discredited species, "Sphenomanganite" but since all Manganite is sphenoidal, it's all just Manganite now. This piece comes from the De Bruyn Collection by way of Crystal Cellar.
