Item Description
Mineral specimens from this very obscure Mexican locality are RARE. MINDAT lists only manganite for the mine. This impressive and large sculptural plate is festooned with lustrous, bubbly, dark gray manganite botryoids. The bit of periphery wear on one corner has very little impact to the rarity and importance of this possibly unique large specimen. Ex Tom and Gale Palmer Collection. The label dates to the 1970s
