A sculptural, rich and rare combination from this old underground and open pit Fe-Mn mine in the Marquette iron range. Baryte blades are aesthetically clustered on the mounded matrix that includes many lustrous, metallic manganite prisms and several hematite breccia fragments. The thin matrix crust is massive to sparkly manganite. Specimens of this combination and aesthetic quality are rare from this old mine. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection and valued by him at $200.
