Item Description

Splendent, jet-black manganite prisms, to about 6 mm, cover the crystallized manganite matrix and are accented with typical bone-white, platy baryte. Some bruising is noted, but this remains a showy and highly representative combination example from this classic locale. These old pieces came out in about 1865-1890.
