Item Description
Sculptural, lustrous cluster of intergrown Manganite crystals that reach 2 cm in length. Many of the crystals taper toward the terminations, creating chisel-like terminations. The sharp crytals are highly lustrous and silver-black, with many of the faces having a rich velvety black similar to Psilomelane. Quite attractive, and much more so in person. Surprisingly, actual manganite crystals are quite rare from the Kalahari Manganese Field, I know not why. Other than in Charlie's collection, I have not seen many for sale, either. valued $500
