Item Description

Attractive and very sharp, this is one of the nicer and best-defined Manganite clusters I have seen. The crystals have a bladed habit, thin and wide, with the longest blade being about 3.5 cm. The luster is excellent, and a number of the blades have a tan coating. If you look carefully, you can see a slight curvature within the cluster, which is actually classic habit for Manganite. A superb, aesthetic miniature. Crystallized manganite is actually very rare for the Kalahari manganese field, believe it or not.
