Manganaon Calcite (fluorescent!) w/ Pyrite

This sculptural large manganoan calcite specimen has fine 3-way viewability. Lustrous, translucent, pretty pastel-pink, nailhead crystals are dramatically stacked in to pagoda-like forms. The dusting of micro pyrites is a nice accent. Specimens from this less well-known Fe-Mn-Au mine are seldom on the market and this is from the circa 2009 find. Choice and essentially pristine material, except for the periphery wear. Neon-orange fluorescence!
