Item Description
Rare worldwide, Mangan-diaspore is the manganese-rich variety of Diaspore. This fine specimen is composed of redwood-colored Mangan-diaspore blades up to 8 cm long and 2 cm thick. The pearly luster is excellent, particuarly on the cleaved surfaces. These lathes of Diaspore are embedded in white Barite that has very good, orange fluoresence. A large, and definitely exceptional, cabinet piece.
