Manebach-twinned Microcline xl (Stevenson & Nowakowski Coll.)

Item Description

A very fine, sharp and uncommon large manebach-twinned microcline crystal from this well-known locale. The lustrous, brown crystal has just a bit of shallow translucence. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. A lower face is contacted, with no damage, per se and a lower edge is very lightly bruised. Exceptional older Bear Lake microcline from the Alfred Stevenson and Robert Nowakowski Collections. Misidentified by Stevenson.
