Item Description
The recent finds of amazonite in Ethiopia have rivaled those from Colorado. This is a showy intergrown cluster nicely accented with a glassy quartz crystal. They have classic turquoise-blue color and the large crystal is an uncommon for the locale, Manebach twin. The lustrous crystal faces accentuate the fine termination (where the twinning plane is evident) and textbook form. Complete all-around, with the contacting the base. This is an excellent and uncommonly formed specimen from this find. You dont see much around anymore. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Very sharp!
