Item Description
Manasseite is a very rare hydrated Mg-Al carbonate discovered in 1940. It is a dimorph of hydrotalcite. Sharp, tabular, textbook hexagonal, lustrous and translucent, amber crystals to 5 mm are nicely clustered on the carbonatite matrix. Specimens are rare and are rarely on the market. The label has a 1991 date on the back.
