Item Description

A wonderful association piece from the famous Southwest Mine featuring hundreds of small, acicular "sprays" of mint green Malachite associated with hundreds of tiny black cubes of the rare lead copper oxide Murdochite. Arguably, the best known specimens of Murdochite are from Arizona, and good pieces are hard to find in today's market. I photographed the piece under the microscope to better illustrate its quality. If you collect Arizona specimens, or rare secondary ore minerals, don't miss out on this one. From the Harold Urish Collection.
