Item Description
Delicate fibrous malachite nodule highlighted by numerous chatoyant radial fans with a small amount of Goethite and attached ironstone matrix. The Goethite forms a series of parallel stalactites, up to 8 mm long, extending from both directions on one side. A nice contrasting geometric feature to the Malachite fans. The piece has several vugs filled with microscopic acicular Malachite needles. A nice representative example of this old Russian material. Ex. Kurt Hefendehl collection.
