This specimen features some good quality, lustrous Malachite coating Chrysocolla from the famous copper deposits in the Katanga Copper Crescent. It has a unique exterior appearance and a pleasing contrast. This is a good quality piece of this fairly common material, but as is the case with many plentiful localities, eventually they run out, and even the average pieces become desirable, so pick up a good one here for a great price.
