Malachite with Chrysocolla

Item Description

This specimen features a good quality, sparkling, forest green Malachite "ball" which is partially coated by Chrysocolla. The Malachite "ball" measures 2.3 cm across. Underlying blue Chrysocolla can be found on the matrix along with a bit more accenting Malachite. It is in great shape overall, and really catches one's attention. There were a lot of these specimens found several years ago, but I really respect the fact that this one wasn't all bashed up, and retained its striking form.
