Multihued green, spherical malachite, to 1.5 cm across, is accented with a few crystals of colorless, adamantine cerussite. Good specimens from this deposit are becoming scarce in the mineral market place. This is a very classic Aussie locality, and large pieces in any quality are hard to come by. This came to us when we bought a large portion of the Harold Urish collection a decade ago. He traded for this in the 1980s, with self-collected Arizona material. Everybody who went to Tucson knew harold - a true gentlemen trader and wheeler-dealer, who roamed the halls of Tucson hotels for decades with his luggage cart of items for swapping and exchange. Valued at $1250 at the time , over a decade ago. Tis a good one, for what it is !
