Item Description

A showy and excellent, two-sided combination specimen from the 1970s work at the well-known, but very small, Rum Jungle Prospect in Australia. The front of the sculptural, very sturdy, vuggy piece consists mostly of striking radiating sprays of chatoyant, acicular, primary malachite crystals with a bit of bubbly, botryoidal malachite. Clusters of iron oxide-coated cerussite crystals are a nifty and complimentary accent. As you can see, the back has a lot more cerussite. A very highly representative combination specimen from this well-known locale and seldom available. Ex Jaime Bird Collection.
