Item Description
A beautiful Tsumeb association specimen from Tsumeb featuring attractive spherical / radial groups of forest green Malachite measuring up to 1.8 cm associated with gemmy, colorless recticulated "snowflake"-like twins of Cerussite measuring up to 1.2 cm with minor bladed Wulfenite and Quartz. The piece is in good shape for the most part, but there are a few rough spots, so it's not completely undamaged. The piece displays nicely and looks good from a few angles. You know that Tsumeb material is highly sought after on the market, and pieces are becoming harder and harder to find, so don't miss out on this beautiful combo specimen from this world-class locality. From the collection of Robert (Bob) Reynolds. Bob was a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of Earth Sciences at the San Bernardino County Museum in California. The rare phyllomanganate-chromate species Reynoldsite was named in his honor in 2011.
