Item Description

Mineral specimens of any type are VERY RARE from this most obscure mine in Guerrero State. Nubby/spiky green velvet malachite botryoids line the vuggy front and one side of the blocky small cabinet matrix. Clusters of hard-to-see micro quartz crystals are scattered about and broken faces reveal stringers and pods of blue azurite. Undoubtedly old-time material, but no proof. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # E3-27 and acquired as a gift on or after 1955. There are NO specimens of any type featured in the MINDAT Photo Gallery for the locale. Extremely rare, perhaps UNIQUE combination material from the locale. Kay recently passed away in 2020.
