A striking and highly unusual style of malachite coated with chrysocolla from the famous Musonoi Mine. The curved banded crust has the overall appearance of a skull! The fantastic parallel-growth botryoids and separating furrows make for an amazing looking specimen. The one polished face with the malachite "eyes" and the dramatically concave scalloped bottom add even more pizzazz to this rare and exceptional older specimen from the Ted Bartels Collection. This piece dates to the 1960s or 70s and is possibly even older.
