Item Description

Sparkly, microcrystalline malachite coats the very sculptural stalagmites and botryoids over the banded malachite matrix on this showy and aesthetic piece from Katanga. The bit of bruising is a minimal detraction to this nifty 360-degree piece. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1984.
