A dramatic cluster of rich green, knobby malachite stalactites is beautifully set in a custom-made, fantastically detailed carved wooden base. The stalactites are dominated by the striking 9.5 cm pristine stalactite. Yes, there are broken stalactites, but these reveal the hollow tubes where the precipitating copper-rich fluids flowed, adding character. The piece has outstanding 360-degree viewability. The carved wooden base is a work of art, in itself. The striking 3-dimensionality of the base, color variability of the wood, exquisite detail on the myriad of flowers and the temple on the back add up to a fine piece of art carved wood.
