Malachite stalactite (exceptional!)

A stunning malachite stalactite from Katanga. The banded stalactite has a matte finish and striking, bulbous, non-linear form. The way the stalactite rests on the angled, malchite-coated thin crust is a super accent, that adds to the aesthetics. There is even a hole in the tip, where the copper-rich fluids flowed from to form the stalactite. Essentially pristine, a bit of super trivial rubbing is noted, but is certainly not a detraction. One of the most artful Katanga malachite stalactites you will see.
