Malachite stalactite

Item Description

This elegant, single stalactite of Malachite is from the Lubumbashi area in the DRC. Perfect all around, this 360 degree specimen has all you could ask for: a deep green color that is highlighted and contrasted by some black areas (manganese oxides?), great form, and very good luster. In fact, the luster is so good that the shiny areas look lighter in the pics than they really are, which is deceptive. Trust me when I say this beautiful stalactite is much better in person.
