Item Description

A rather hard to find Malachite specimen from the lesser known Bristol Mine in Lincoln County, Nevada. This lovely small cabinet features a coverage of chatoyant, deep green, velvety, "needles", "sprays" and radial groups of Malachite covering the underlying brown gossan matrix. Beautiful to view up close. If you colllect secondary ore minerals, worldwide Malachites or specifically minerals of Nevada, don't less this beauty get away. From the collection of Gary Weaver of Prescott, Arizona (1944-2019). Gary was an electrical engineer who worked for many years for Hughes Aircraft in California.
