Item Description
While Malachite is not a rare species, it is hard to find from Ojuela. This piece is a wonderful example of this elusive material featuring a central vug filled with acicular, rich green colored Malachite "needles" sitting on oxidized matrix. The crystals are fun to view up close as you can see from the photos. Good quality overall, and the piece displays nicely. It would make a great addition to any collection of secondary ore minerals, or a suite of Ojuela specimens.
