Item Description

An aesthetic specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens were few and far between now, and since the oxidized zone at the mine is gone, we will never see these pieces again. This piece is filled with many fine quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals of Malachite that have altered from Azurite measuring up to 1.7 cm. Minor attached matrix can be seen in spots. A very nice specimen of this well known material. This specimen comes from the collection of Richard Rossi.
