Item Description

This large miniature / small cabinet piece is an aesthetic specimen of Malachite pseudomorphing after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at the famed Milpillas Mine. The locality is now finished, and although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens were few and far between now, This piece is filled with many fine quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals of Malachite that have altered from Azurite measuring up to 2.1 cm. A very nice specimen of this well known material.
