Item Description
An aesthetic specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite on very minor matrix from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, display specimens were few and far between. Now that the mine is finished, very little material is available on the market. This miniature sized specimen features fine quality, velvety / chatoyant forest-green crystals of Malachite that have altered from previously existing Azurite. A good quality and showy specimen of this well known material. No major damage that I can see with the naked eye on the display side, but it is not complete on the back / periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall.
