Malachite pseudomorph after Azurite

This is a striking and beautiful specimen of sparklingly lustrous pseudomorphs of forest green Malachite replacing "rosette" of Azurite on gossan matrix from BRAZIL of all places. We think of gem crystals or even Gold or Diamonds when it comes Brazil, but secondary ore minerals are seldom seen. The famous locality at Seabra has given collectors some really impressive specimens that remind me of specimens from Arizona. In addition to the "rosettes", there are small velvety "balls" of Malachite than can be seen in areas. This piece is really choice and showy and displays well from several angles. Priced at $1200.
