Item Description

An attractive specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens are few and far between. This piece features several quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals of Malachite that have altered from Azurite. The largest crystal measures 2.0 cm long, and the contrasting reddish oxidized matrix on the reverse side of the specimen makes for a great touch of additional color. Very little damage, and great quality for the find.
