Item Description

The various specimens from the Milpillas Mine will go down as classics, as they are some of the best and most attractive examples of their respective species ever found. While Milpillas might be best known for its Azurites, there were many fine quality pseudomorphs of Malachite after Azurite found at this prestigious, and now defunct mine. The specimen features beautiful velvety, rich green colored crystals of Malachite after Azurite measuring up to 1.3 cm long on very minor matrix. Now that the oxidized zone at Milpillas has been mined through, you won't see any new pieces from this locality ever again, so get them while you can.
