Item Description
An eye-catching small cabinet specimen from Touissit featuring a good sized prismatic crystal of Azurite that has been completely pseudomorphed into chatoyant velvety green Malachite with a bit of attached matrix on each end. It's one of the larger individual crystals of this material that we've offered in the auctions from Touissit, and were it not pseudomorphed, it would be a notably impressive single crystal of Azurite in its own right. A few minor imperfections keep it from being undamaged, but still a sizeable example of this classic material from one of the premier localities in Morocco.
