Item Description

A beautiful example of these soon-to-be classic specimens from the famous Milpillas Mine featuring sharp, bladed crystals of what used to be Azurite, which have been pseudomorphed into velvety deep green Malachite. The piece has a wonderful directional luster, and is in very fine condition, with no major damage to the display side. The largest crystal measures 3.2 cm long. Hard to illustrate in photos/video, but better in person. The oxidized zone at Milpillas has been mined through, so there will be no more of these pieces ever again, so don't miss out on them while they're available. I'm sure observant collectors have noticed that they have dried up fairly quickly from the market.
