These historic specimens of Cuprite coated with Malachite are still unique in the mineral world. A full miniature, this aesthetic Malachite-Cuprite single has the classic geometry combining octahedral, cubic and dodecahedral forms. It is a floater all around, Three-dimensional, with just perhaps one small contact point, it has a wonderful aesthetic with the velvety Malachite and the typically-modified girdle. This is a classic textbook single crystal piece from the Oganja (Emke) Mine at Oganja, Namibia, with none coming out since the historic finds of the 1970s. Note that many of these are gemmy within, and over the years have been destroyed to cut them into the world's best cuprite gemstones!
