Malachite ps. Azurite (with Plancheite)

Item Description

An aesthetic specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens are few and far between. There are several, fine quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals (measuring up to 3.0 cm) of Malachite that have altered from Azurite. The reverse side of the Malachite crystals shows some small blue "tufts" of rarely seen Plancheite! A nice specimen of this well known material.
