Item Description

An aesthetic specimen of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens are few and far between. There are several, fine quality, velvety, dark forest-green crystals (measuring up to 1.4 cm) of Malachite that have altered from Azurite. The reverse side of the Malachite crystals shows some small blue "tufts" of rarely seen Plancheite! A nice specimen of this well known material.
