Item Description
This fine, showy Malachite/Azurite pseudomorph is from the famous locality of Touissit. In a classic alteration, the Azurite crystals in the cluster are pseudomorphing into Malachite. The remaining Azurites, lustrous and deep blue, provide an attractive complement to the now velvety, deep green Malachite. The largest of the original, bladed crystals is 2.5 cm, and the the juxtaposition of the many crystals in all different directions adds character to this small cab. Aesthetic, and highly representative, material from Touissit.
