Item Description

An outstanding old-time thumbnail pair of malachite pseudomorphs are sharp cuprite crystals with two classic crystal forms from Chessy. The sharp octahedron has striking hoppered faces and the other crystal is a textbook dodecahedron. The ancient Chessy mines were closed by 1875 and this is a most excellent pair with classic forms of the species. Ex Edna Doughty and Larry Conklin Collections.
