Item Description

Arizona has produced many malachite styles but Tsumeb is still the king of malachite pseudomorphs for sharp, 3-dimensional crystals and this thumbnail is the truly perfect dream version of a Tsumeb pseudo in thumbnail size. It is perfect, a cluster, and so geometric. It has an amazing chatoyant luster to it! I have been told they came out in the 1960s and Bill got this from Charlie Key! This just displays so beautifully! We seldom see any for sale in thumbnail size that are better than the average single crystal style but this floater stands above. And, this choice thumbnail has resurfaced after literally 30 years lost in a closet, in the collection of Bill and Sharon Panczner (they had a superb competitive thumbnail collection back in the 70s before it was as fashionable as it is today!)
