A very fine and aesthetic old-time pseudomorph from this famed locale. Malachite pseudomorphs after sharp, chisel-pointed, tabular azurite crystals are richly and attractively set in the mounded matrix. The impressive large frontal pseudo is 2.4 cm long. The hefty brecciated matrix is composed mostly of glassy, tabular anglesite or cerussite microcrystals. In great shape overall. The two noted broken crystals certainly have very minimal impact to the excellent quality of this Tsumeb classic from the R. Jones Collection. Valued at $950 by the former dealer.
